Schedule a Free 20-Minute Consultation

Reaching out for support can feel like a meaningful first step.

If you are exploring art therapy for grief and loss, emotional overwhelm, anxiety, life transitions, or other personal concerns, I invite you to schedule a free 20-minute consultation.

This conversation provides an opportunity to learn more about art therapy, ask questions, and explore whether working together feels like a good fit. If it feels like the right fit for you, your child, tween, or teen, we can discuss the next steps and schedule an initial session. If you need additional time to decide, that's completely okay—you are welcome to reconnect whenever you feel ready.

The 3 Brushes provides primarily in-person art therapy services in Gaithersburg and Montgomery County, Maryland, for children, teens, and adults. Telehealth services are available when clinically appropriate.

If you encounter any broken links, technical issues, or other concerns while exploring the website, please don't hesitate to let me know. As a one-woman practice, I do my best to stay attentive to every detail and appreciate your patience if something is occasionally overlooked.

Consultations: What to Expect

Consultations are an opportunity to:

• Share what brings you to art therapy.

• Ask questions about the therapeutic process.

• Learn more about art therapy and my approach.

• Explore whether working together feels like a good fit.

• Discuss next steps if you decide to move forward.

There is no pressure to decide during the consultation. You are welcome to take time to reflect and reconnect whenever you feel ready.

Please note that consultations are not art therapy sessions and do not establish a therapeutic relationship. They are, however, held with care, respect, and attention to privacy and confidentiality.

This consultation may be helpful if you are seeking:

• Art therapy in Gaithersburg or Montgomery County, Maryland.

• Support for grief and loss, life transitions, emotional overwhelm, or anxiety.

• A creative and reflective approach to emotional healing.

• Support for a loved one

• An opportunity to ask questions before beginning art therapy.

Scheduling & Response Times

Please review the contact options below and select the appropriate button to get in touch. I typically respond to messages within 1–2 business days, most often mornings.

Consultations are generally available Tuesday through Thursday in the late morning or early afternoon. Limited Monday or Friday appointments may also be available. If these times do not work for you, please share your availability, and I will let you know whether another time can be accommodated.

Art therapy sessions are typically scheduled during the late afternoons and evenings. Mondays and Fridays are often reserved for administrative responsibilities, professional development, community engagement, and studio work.

Consultations and art therapy sessions are not scheduled on weekends or major holidays.
