To make art is to respond, reflect, and resolve

GALLERY

Original Artwork, Creative Practice, & Studio Work

The gallery at The 3 Brushes reflects my creative practice as both an art therapist and artist. Featured works include original artwork, sketchbook studies, workshop examples, and process-based explorations that have evolved through curiosity, experimentation, and creative inquiry.

Many of these pieces explore themes of grief, loss, renewal, change, nature, embodiment, and the human experience. My work often examines how art can serve as a pathway for reflection, meaning-making, emotional expression, and personal growth.

I work across a variety of materials and approaches, including painting, mixed media, drawing, woodburning, and process-based studio practices. Mistakes, revisions, unfinished work, and experimentation are embraced as essential parts of the creative process.

If you are interested in the role of creativity in emotional healing, learn more about What Is Art Therapy? If you would like to learn more about my background, approach, and the philosophy behind The 3 Brushes, visit the About page.

Whether you are exploring artwork, interested in a commission, or looking for creative workshops and community events, I invite you to spend some time with the work and see what resonates with you.

CHOOSING A PIECE

When selecting artwork, consider scale—how the piece interacts with your space; layering—pairing a focal work with smaller complementary pieces; and mood—choosing artwork that resonates both emotionally and visually. From workshops, events, and community gatherings, there’s something upcoming and ongoing. Mark your calendars!

Workshops are educational and creative experiences and are not psychotherapy or art therapy services. There are currently no art therapy groups being offered through The 3 Brushes.

If you’d like to be a community collaborator, feel free to connect with me. I’m available to co-lead workshops, arts-based events, and mental health awareness advocacy opportunities.

Art Supply Donations

Every creative material has a story. Sometimes that story continues in the hands of someone new.

If you have gently used art supplies, paper, textiles, found objects, toys, miniatures, or other creative materials that are no longer being used, I welcome the opportunity to give them a second life in support of my art therapy practice, personal art making, and community workshops.

I also welcome donations from local businesses with surplus inventory or materials that can no longer be sold due to minor damage, discontinued stock, or other non-safety-related reasons.

If you are interested in donating materials, I would be happy to connect and discuss what you have available. Please note that, due to space, safety, and clinical considerations, I may not be able to accept every donation.
